Cincinnati and the tri-state
CARF accreditation consulting in Cincinnati.
Wagner Advisory Group is based in Greater Cincinnati and led by Aaron Wagner, an active CARF surveyor with ten years on survey teams. For organizations in Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Indiana, that means a consultant who can be in your building for a gap analysis or mock survey without a plane ticket in the budget.
Local help from someone who conducts the surveys.
Most organizations in the region that pursue CARF accreditation already do good work. What slows them down is the evidence: a strategic plan that covers every planning consideration, policies tied to the right standard numbers, and files that show conformance rather than assert it.
Being close by changes how that work gets done. Instead of a single remote review, we can walk your sites, sit with the staff who will be interviewed, pull files together, and come back for a mock survey closer to your date. Travel costs stay low, and scheduling is easier when your consultant is a short drive away.
Accreditation requirements in Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana depend on the program, the payer, and the state agency involved. Some contracts and certifications call for national accreditation and some do not. Sorting out which rules actually apply to your programs is one of the first things we do together.

Services
What we do for organizations in the region.
Full accreditation preparation
End-to-end support from the decision to pursue accreditation through the survey: standards interpretation, policy development, strategic and performance improvement plans, evidence assembly, and staff coaching.
Gap analysis
An on-site review against the standards that apply to your programs, with a written, prioritized action plan you can use with or without further help.
Mock survey
A rehearsal under survey conditions, with interviews, file review, and an exit conference, run by someone who conducts real surveys.
Templates and maintenance
Ready-to-adopt documents cross-referenced to standard numbers, and a retainer that keeps you ready between survey cycles.
Where we work
On-site engagements are easiest to schedule across the tri-state and the surrounding region, including:
- Cincinnati and Hamilton, Butler, Warren, and Clermont counties
- Northern Kentucky, including Covington, Newport, Florence, and Erlanger
- Dayton, Columbus, and the rest of Ohio
- Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky
- Indianapolis and Southeast Indiana
Outside the region? Aaron travels anywhere for on-site work, so distance does not rule you out.
On the surveyor role. Aaron surveys for CARF International in a separate, individual capacity. He does not survey any organization this practice has advised, does not speak for CARF, and has no influence over accreditation decisions. If your organization is local, that separation matters, and it is built into how engagements are accepted.
